I like the quotes you posted. The first one is very true because children look up to the adults in their lives. I had a teacher tell me that she loved being a preschool teacher because everyday the children made her feel like a rock star. They all run up to hug you and want you to play with them, read stories or just be thier for them. This is when we know that we are making a positive impact in their lives.
I really enjoy the quotes that you have posted. I really identify with the first quote. You never realize how much you mean to the children until you observe how you effect them. I noticed this when I was a teacher's assistant 9 years ago and watched as the children imitated everything that I did during play from the way I did circle time to the way I held the book as I read to them. This made me think, its not just the lessons the I teach that shape them but my actions also. From that day forward I have kept that lesson with me.
