The quote by Sandy Escobido is so profound. How humbling to think of how we have the opportunity to help make a child's life better. I work with at-risk children, and sometimes the only affection or encouragement they get in a day is from me. This breaks my heart and motivates me to become a better educator to best serve these chilren.
